In this picture I'm praying for a young mother and her 4 sons. I asked about their father and come to find out it was at least two absentee dads. Why is this important well their's several reasons but we will just concentrate on a few. The Bible shows us that the man is the foundation of the home and provides protection along with provision.
Let's first look at provision, I've learned over the years the importance of providing. When men understand their role in being the provider for their family, they also get the revelation of having VISION for their family. VISION is the key and just as the Bible says without VISION my people perish. This tells me with VISION comes the protection from perishing.
We as Fathers must teach young men the importance of having VISION at a young age and be available for them. I believe this will begin to swing the pendulum in the right direction. Most importantly Fathers have to be the foundation for their family.
I could give many statistics that prove how important fathers in the lives of their children and being at home is. The family structure is broken down because many men have been broken down by life's many challenges.
MEN, it's time we take a stand and say no more. We must fight for our family and the next generation by starting with ourselves. The Bible declares that in the last days God is sending the spirit of Elijah and he will turn the hearts of the Fathers to the children and the children to their fathers. I'm doing my part and I plead you too will do the same.
